FaceCheckNow is an AI-powered reverse face search engine. You upload a photo of a face, and our technology finds where that face appears across the public internet. It helps you verify the identity of people you meet online, check dating profiles, and confirm that someone is who they claim to be.

When you upload a photo, our AI analyzes the facial features and converts them into a mathematical representation called a face embedding. This embedding is then compared against billions of publicly available images indexed from the open web. The system returns pages where visually similar faces are found, along with links to the source.

You can create an account for free. Each face search consumes credits, which can be purchased as one-time credit packs or through a monthly subscription plan. We offer several pricing tiers to fit different needs. Visit our pricing page for current plans and credit packages.

Privacy is fundamental to how we operate. When you upload a photo, it is processed to extract a numerical face embedding and then deleted from our servers within 24 hours. We never store your original photos long-term. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Our AI achieves high accuracy for matching faces, but no system is perfect. Results depend on factors including photo quality, lighting, angle, and the availability of matching images on the public web. You may occasionally see false positives (faces that look similar but are different people) or false negatives (no results even though the person has a public presence). Results should be used as a starting point for verification, not as definitive proof of identity.

Using publicly available information to verify someone's identity is generally legal. However, you must comply with applicable laws and our Terms of Service. FaceCheckNow is NOT a consumer reporting agency and results must not be used for employment screening, credit decisions, tenant screening, insurance underwriting, or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You may not use the service to stalk, harass, or harm anyone.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to your remaining credits. No further charges will be made after cancellation. We support JPEG, PNG, and WebP image formats. For best results, upload a clear, well-lit photo where the face is clearly visible and facing forward. The image should be at least 200x200 pixels. Group photos can be used, but you will need to select which face to search for.

Most searches complete within 30 to 90 seconds. The time depends on the complexity of the search and current system load. You will receive a notification when your results are ready. You do not need to keep the page open while the search is processing.

A search with no matches means our system did not find that face in the publicly available images we have indexed. This does not necessarily mean the person has no online presence. It may mean their images are on private accounts, behind logins, or on platforms not yet indexed by our system. The credit for the search is still consumed because the computational work was performed.

Yes. Many users search for their own face to see where their photos appear online. This can help you discover unauthorized use of your photos, find forgotten social media accounts, or monitor your online presence. Searching for your own face follows the same process and credit usage as any other search.

If you want your face removed from our search results, please email privacy@facechecknow.com with your request. Include details that help us identify the relevant data (such as URLs where your face appears in our results). We will process verified removal requests within 30 days. Note that we can only remove data from our own systems; we cannot remove your images from third-party websites where they are published.
